Based on this year’s expected cutoff the closing rank at VIT University Chennai campus is around 39,000 for Mechanical Engineering. Anyways you can get admission in category 2 or 3.If you don’t get then you have chances to get Admission at Amaravti or Bhopal campus. The tution fee af Chennai and Bhopal campus is 1,98,000/- per year and Amaravti campus is 1,76,000/- per year. The hostel fee is around 1.44 lakhs , 84,750, 1.1 lakh per year at Chennai, Amaravati, Bhopal campus respectively. According to the placements wise the chennai campus is equal to vellore campus. Almost same companies visit both the campuses. The top companies that visit this university are: PayPal, Microsoft, DeShaw, Amazon, Flipkart, etc. The placements at Amaravati and Bhopal campus are unpredictable because they were established in 2017 and no pass out batch.
