Isra, since you have a pharmacy background, your foundation in Biology and Chemistry will help in NEET preparation. However, NEET also requires strong Physics knowledge, which might need extra focus. If you start preparing now with a disciplined study plan, solving NCERTs, and practicing mock tests, you can attempt NEET this year. But if you feel you need more time to strengthen weak areas, you can target NEET next year. Consider joining a coaching program or using online resources for structured guidance. Your decision should depend on your confidence in covering the full syllabus effectively.

Hello

Completed a B. Pharm in 2015 and is currently working in pharmacy. They want to attempt NEET this year and are asking whether they should prepare now or wait for next year.

1. Check Eligibility – Since they completed B. Pharm they must ensure they meet NEET eligibility criteria (having studied PCB in 12th grade).

2. Time Left for NEET 2025 – If NEET is only a few months away they need to assess their current knowledge of Physics, Chemistry and Biology.

3. Preparation Plan

If they have strong basics in Biology and Chemistry, they can prepare intensively and attempt NEET this year.

If they feel underprepared, it might be better to aim for NEET 2026 with a full-year preparation plan.

4. Mock Tests & Self-Assessment – Taking a few mock tests will help them decide whether to attempt NEET this year or take extra time.

Hope this gives you the clarity you need.

Since you completed B. Pharmacy in 2015 and are currently working in a pharmacy, preparing for NEET will require focused effort. Start with NCERT books for Biology, Chemistry, and Physics, as they form the exam's foundation. Use mock tests, previous papers, and online coaching for structured learning. Given limited time, consistent revision and practice are key. If you feel confident with rigorous study, attempt NEET this year ; otherwise, consider preparing for next year with a well-planned strategy.
