Fruits vary in how many seeds they have. Fruits with a lot of seeds often include melons, cucumbers, tomatoes, and green peppers. Typically, each orange, apple, and pear has 10 seeds. There is only one seed in other fruits including peaches, plums, and avocados.

Natural products with a solitary seed are the avocado (in fact a berry), date, olive, and mango, as well as cherries, kumquats, apricots, plums, peaches, and nectarines.
