both of these exams will help you to get admission in B.ARCH.

both have an almost same syllabus.

so I will recommend to appear in both in order to get admission in b.arch

Jee Mains Paper 2 is required for admission into the B.Arch courses of those colleges that accept JEE Mains marks. Colleges not accepting JEE Mains marks, use NATA scores along with other requirements ( like score in entrance examinations held by them ).

Dear Harshit, JEE Main Paper 2 opens the door to NITs and GFTIs offering B.Arch course whereas admission in colleges like SPA Delhi and CEPT University Ahmedabad is offered through NATA.

If we look at the two exams, National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) is an specialized test meant to test the aptitude of candidates specifically for studying architecture. Questions in NATA are made to test drawing observational skills, aesthetic sensitivity, mathematics and critical thinking ability of students. JEE Main Paper 2 is developed in such as to check the aptitude of prospective students in drawing, mathematics and basic aptitude of student.

NATA is more recommended.

Hello Harshit,
If you write only nata exam you can only get admission in nata colleges whereas if you write jee main paper 2 you can join any b. Arch college. Both the examination have high standard. You will get highly qualified teachers in top nata and other top b. Arch colleges depending  on your ranking. I would suggest you to write both the exams to keep one as a backup.
