Hello,

National Means-cum-Merit Scholarship (NMMS) is for students in Class VIII.

Here are few points about it :-

Eligibility : Family income < Rs. 3.5 lakh/year, 55% marks in Class VII (50% for SC/ST).

Exam : Mental Ability Test (MAT) and Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT).

Scholarship : Rs. 1,000/month for four years (Classes IX-XII).

Held : State-level exam, usually in November-January.
