The Indian Maritime University is a central university devoted exclusively to maritime related studies. Check this link . It gives details of the programmes offered by the university at its six campuses. You may have to write the IMU CET which is the entrance test for courses here. Job opportunities may be available at Shipping Corporation of India which has a ship building section as well as shipping companies, at the ports, the Directorate General of Shipping does give some placement records.
