Yes, the order of preference has a huge importance while filling the counselling for NEET UG 2021 under All India Quota or the State Quota, it plays a very essential and irreplaceable role. The order of preference basically means a serial-wise list of colleges in which you would like to get admission first. So, a college in which you want to take admission has to come at the top of the list. The next college should be the one in which you want to get admission in case you don't get admission in your first preferred college. Similarly, a college which is at the third position should be the one in which you would like to get admission if you are unable to secure admission in the first two and hence so on and so forth.
