Hello ,

The Madhya Pradesh High Court has issued a notice to the State Government, asking it to reply on a Public Interest Litigation (PIL) which challenges non-implementation of economically weaker section (EWS) quota in private colleges. Also, not every Private Medical College qualifies for EWS reservation because their Management quota takes a hit.

Maybe it will be present in coming years, let's hope for the best.

Good luck!!

Hii,

After the implementation of 10% reservation  for Economically Weaker Section , every state was ordered to follow it for admission to different colleges in all over the country.

But there is no EWS quota in private colleges of Madhya Pradesh as the state government has not implimented it in any of the private and Dental colleges across the states , so the high court directed the state council to take initiative to implement the reservation properly.

It might be applicable from next year,

Hope this will help you,

All the very best!!
