NEET 2021 sample OMR sheet has obc-1 and obc-2 in category column. what does it mean. as I am in obc ( non creamy layer) then which one i have to fill?
Answer (1)
Obc-1, obc-2, obc-A, obc- B, bc- I, bc- II etc are subcategories of OBC in different states.
But,
neet is a national level entrance examination and state level reservation categories are not there.
So, Obc- 1 / obc-2 etc will not be there in your neet OMR sheet.
Be it neet application form/ omr sheet
, categories are there as per National/ central level which are provided below:-
*General
*General-EWS
* OBC- NCL
*SC
*ST
So, in your Neet OMR sheet you need to select obc-ncl
Now that,
limited time is left for neet 2021 , so you should be focusing on your preparation,
- practising chapterwise questions
- then revising the chapters,
- solve at least previous 10 year neet question papers as concept behind the question often gets repeated in the examination so it will be of great help in your preparation ,
- go through neet mock test papers as it will let you know your preparation level and and weak areas so that you can work on them and perform well in your examination.
To help you in cracking neet, we have neet crash coursefor you, the link for the same is given below :-

Actually,
in neet 2021 omr sheet, there's no column for your category, so you don't need to bother about it.
You can check the same in sample omr sheet issued by nta at
https://neet.nta.nic.in/webinfo/File/GetFile?FileId=91&LangId=P
in omr sheet, you just have to fill your details like your roll number, mother's & father's name, your signature, your left hand thumb impression etc.
