If you are from an Unreserved category then 500 marks will not be enough to get MBBS in government colleges. If you wish to go for MBBS then you should target 575+ marks in order to have a better possibility. But I would always recommend you to do your best. see every year the marks and cutoffs fluctuates. So to be safe try to score as much as you can and obviously target 575+ for MBBS. For BAMS/BHMS courses 500+ can give you some chance but that way also its quite competitive as the student range in the marks range 500-550 is observed to be the maximum every year.
