The first step is to register online on the official counseling websites. Candidates need to provide their NEET UG roll number, application number, and other personal details. This step also involves paying a non-refundable registration fee and a refundable security deposit. The fees vary depending on the category of the candidate.

After registration, candidates can fill in their preferences for colleges and courses. It's crucial to be strategic and realistic with your choices based on your NEET rank. The number of choices you can fill is usually not limited, so it's a good idea to list as many as you're willing to join. Once you're sure of your choices, you must lock them before the deadline. Locked choices cannot be changed later. If you fail to lock your choices, the last saved preferences will be automatically locked.

Seats are allotted based on a combination of your NEET rank, the choices you filled, your category, and the availability of seats. The results for each round of counseling are published on the official websites. If you are allotted a seat, you must download the seat allotment letter.

Once you receive a seat allotment, you must report to the designated college within the specified time frame to confirm your admission. This involves physically going to the college, verifying your documents, and paying the remaining admission fees.

Hello,

NEET admission process includes the following steps:

  1. Appear for NEET Exam – Qualify the exam with the required cut-off.

  2. Result & Rank – Check your score, rank and percentile.

  3. Counselling Registration – Apply for counselling (AIQ by MCC, State quota by state authorities).

  4. Choice Filling – Select preferred colleges and courses.

  5. Seat Allotment – Seats are allotted based on rank, preferences, and availability.

  6. Reporting – Report to the allotted college for document verification and admission.

Admission is given only if you meet eligibility, qualify NEET, and complete counselling steps.

Hope it helps !
