Hello aspirant,

Thanks for contacting Careers 360.

Lets first compare NEET and AIIMS under different categories and assign points to each depending on which is more difficult, considering that point.

A. With respect to subjects

1. NEET - Physics (45 questions, 180 marks), Chemistry (45 questions, 180 marks), Biology (90 questions, 360 marks)

2. AIIMS - Physics (60 questions, 60 marks), Chemistry (60 questions, 60 marks), Biology (60 questions, 60 marks), GK and Logic (20 questions, 20 marks)

Physics

AIIMS Physics Question is comparatively more difficult. AIIMS Difficulty Point= +1

Chemistry

Both NEET and AIIMS Chemistry Questions are of same difficulty level.

Biology

NEET Biology question is more difficult (as AIIMS Biology questions are entirely from NCERT). NEET Difficulty Point = +1

GK and Logic

Only comes in AIIMS. AIIMS Difficulty Point = +1

B. With respect to Marking Scheme

In NEET, for each incorrect response you get -1, for correct response you get +4. For no response, you get 0.

In AIIMS, for each incorrect response you get -1/3, for correct response you get +1. For no response, you get 0.

Comparing Negative marking, NEET gives you less penalty as compared to AIIMS. AIIMS Difficulty Point = +1

C. With respect to number of seats

AIIMS has very limited number of seats as compared to NEET. AIIMS Difficulty Point = +1

D. Number of candidates appearing

NEET has huge number of applicants. NEET Difficulty Point = +1

TOTAL DIFFICULTY POINTS -

AIIMS - 4

NEET - 2

So clearly, AIIMS is tougher.

Thank You

Best Of Luck

In aiims and neet, aiims is more tough than neet exam. This have some reasons like aiims include gk questions also, aiims have assertion reason like question which are little bit tough than neet one.
Aiims have few seats than a high percentile is needed to get admission.
All exams have all three section easy medium and tough.
Also some students faces problem in online examination of aiims.
