Hi Priya, Please be specific you are targeting BAMS in which state ? Secondly, in which year you are planning to join BAMS 2018/2019....as it varies.....As of now many colleges have started taking admission through NEET only...So better to give NEET....Best of luck

In February 2017, the ministry of AYUSH had released an official notification to conduct admission procedures for BAMS, BUMS and BHMS based on NEET scores. But due to objections raised by various states, this could not be implemented in NEET 2017.

However, ministry of AYUSH has released yet another notification in June 2017 stating that admissions into BAMS, BUMS and BHMS will be done based on the NEET scores of the candidates from 2018 onwards. No more private examinations will be conducted to fill seats of any of the AYUSH colleges after implementation of this decision.
So admissions into any of the above mentioned courses will be based on NEET scores from 2018 onwards.

In the state of Maharashtra, yes. Mbbs, bds, bams, bhms and unani admissions are through neet. Also neet includes bpth as well.

Most of the colleges accept NEET score to provide admission in BAMS course but it would be better if you could share which state and college you are asking for because it is not compulsory that all colleges accept NEET so please be specific with the name of the college.
