While many colleges use NEET UG scores for admission into Veterinary Sciences, there are state colleges that use state entrance examination for the same; also, there are institutions that simply use Class 12 Board results for admission. You have to look for the eligibilty criteria of the concerned institution to know.

Yes if you want to get in any college for bsc veterinary Sciences and animal husbandry then you need to appear in NEET and should score really well in NEET examination.
No college in this field i.e. veterinary Sciences and animal husbandry, whether government or private is exempted from the rule that NEET scores are compulsory to apply for B Vsc.
Hence you have to compulsorily appear in NEET.

The students who want to enroll with the government and private sector Veterinary Colleges to graduate in Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry course will have to appear in the NEET exams. 

The cut off will be based on the number of students applying for the course.
