Yes, NEET is required for admission in B.Sc nursing but not for all the college

Admission in BSc(Nursing) by following given exams can be given for colleges.

AIIMS BSc nursing entrance exam (AIIMS)

Indian army Bsc Nursing entrance exam

AFMC nursing entrance exam(AFMC)

RUHS nursing entrance exam(RUHS)

CMC Ludhiana nursing entrance exam(CMC)

KGMU nursing entrance exam(KGMU)

Jamia hamdard nursing entrance exam(JAMIA HAMDARD)

Hi

Yes, neet is required for bsc nursing but not for all colleges . In most of the colleges you can get admission in bsc nursing without neet.

Only a few nursing colleges like BHU, Indian Army bsc nursing, JIPMER, IPU , etc have started accepting NEET for bsc nursing.

Without NEET, you can get admission through other entrance examinations like:-

  • AIIMS Bsc Nursing entrance exam

  • RUHS Nursing entrance exams

  • CMC Ludhiana BSc Nursing entrance

  • KGMU Nursing entrance exam

  • Uttarakhand Nursing Entrance Exam

The general eligibility criteria is that one should have at least 50 % in 12th board examination with physics, chemistry and Biology.

The average salary for nurses is roughly around 2-3 lakhs per annum, but it also varies upon depending upon the hospital you are working in and and whether it is in urban or rural area , your experience etc. After bsc nursing you can even go for msc nursing.
