NEET or National Eligibility cum Entrance Exam is an examination held nationwide for admission to medical or dental courses in India. Those students who want to pursue courses like MBBS (Bachelor of medicine, bachelor of surgery), BDS (Bachelor of dental surgeries), BAMS (Bachelor of Ayurvedic medicine and surgeries), BHMS (Bachelor of homeopathic medicine). It was formerly known as AIPMT or All India Pre Medical Test. It is currently conducted by NTA or National Testing agency. Around 13k-19k candidates seat in this exam every year. It is the largest exam in India according to the number of candidate registered. The exam has a high difficulty level and is conducted for admiss6to around 54,000 medical/dental seats in the country.
