Hello

The cutoff required for admission varies every year from college to college. Cutoff depends on various factors such as :

Difficulty level of the exam
Number of candidates appearing in the exam
Number of available seats
Category of the candidate

Marks required for admission to government colleges is high as compared to the marks required for private college. For admission to top government medical colleges, one should aim to score 600+ marks in the NEET exam. Do let us know the college name if you are seeking admission in any particular college so we can provide you the details accordingly.

Good Luck!

Hi aspirant,

Your minimum qualifying marks will vary based on your category. If you are general category student, you should score 50 percentage marks in NEET. Other category students should score from 40 to 45 percentage based on their category. But passing is not enough to get a seat in medical colleges. You should score good marks to get good colleges.

Hope it helps.
