The normal exam fee without late fee is Rs 250 per subject for the theory exam and Rs 120 per subject for the practical exam. If any student fails to pay the exam fee before the last date then, in addition, they will have to pay the late fee of Rs 100 per subject.

Fee concession has been provided to female, SC/ST/Ex-Serviceman, and differently-abled/Divyang learners and Jail Inmates as per NIOS standards.

For both Secondary Level and Senior Secondary Levels, the NIOS exam fee for On-Demand Examination is Rs 500 per subject plus Rs 200 for per practical subjects.
