I am guessing you from general category.
To be eligible for NITs one needs at least 75% marks in class 12th if belongs to General or OBC category or at least 65% marks in class 12th if belongs to Sc or St category. For this year i. e 2021 this minimum percentage requirement of 75% - 65 % has been lifted off.

This is a bit difficult to predict the marks/percentile/rank required in JEE mains as closing rank keeps changing every year depending upon various factors like number of students that appeared in the exam, kind of marks obtained by them , toughness level of the jee main examination , number of seats available for the branch you want etc.

Under other state quota , closing rank for some of the nits for which closing rank goes low are listed below along with their closing rank in the 6th round of josaa counselling 2020 for general category :-

From above, it is clear that you need at least a rank of around 45,000 - 50,000 to get into an NIT .And to get a rank in this range, you need at atleast around 95.5 - 96 percentile as per our rank predictor at
