The National Means-cum-Merit Scholarship (NMMS) Exam 2025 for Class 8 students in Telangana follows a standardized pattern for English medium students.
The NMMS 2025 exam consists of two papers:

• Total Marks : 180 (MAT + SAT).
• Passing Criteria : Minimum 40% in each paper (32% for SC/ST/PH).
• No Negative Marking : Correct answers earn 1 mark; unanswered questions carry no penalty.
• Medium : English (and Telugu/Urdu, as chosen).

Mental Ability Test (MAT) :

Questions : 90 multiple-choice questions.

Marks : 90 (1 mark per question).

Duration : 90 minutes.

Scholastic Aptitude Test (SAT) :

Questions : 90 MCQs.

Subjects : Science (35 questions), Social Science (35 questions), and Mathematics (20 questions).

Marks : 90 (1 mark per question).

Duration : 90 minutes.
