• Eligibility criteria for this course are that you must have done your 10+2 with Biology/maths, physics and chemistry as subjects and must score above 50% for applying. Different colleges have adopted different ways of giving admission to this course. Some of them give admission on merit basis and others on the basis of CET that is common eligibility test like Jee Mains and advanced, UPSEE, etc. and some renowned private colleges conduct their individual entrance tests also for eg. BITSAT, LPUNEST, etc. Syllabus for entrance examinations is the same as for the boards of a non-medical science student that is it has maths as an essential part. So, for scoring well in these entrance exam you have to rely mostly on the chemistry and physics portion. So, you can study biomedical engineering without maths but you have to work harder than others in physics and chemistry.

Dear Krishna, to be eligible to study BioMedical Engineering, you should have passed your 10+2 with a minimum aggregate of 50%. It is 45% for Reserved Categories. You should have studied Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics as compulsory subjects with Biology/Biotechnology as an additional subject. Because it is an Engineering course, Mathematics is a mandatory subject.
