If you want to go abroad and if you want to pursue your career in engineering then you can take up any engineering course in India. It would be better to get into IITs or NITs to enhance your chances of studying abroad. I won't tell you to take any specific branch, so you should take a branch where your interest lies. For example like if you do Computer Science Engineering in India then you can move on to do Masters in America in MIT which is the best institute in the world for studying Masters. So, take any engineering course based on your interest, complete UG in India and then you can move foreign to complete your Masters.
