Yes you can definitely go for CA if you are already a CMA student. Indeed it'll be quite beneficial for you in the long run. As the subjects are quite similar in CA and CMA you'll get help in clearing both the courses. However, as the syllabus is vast for both CA and CMA make sure that you do not mess up things. Time management is very important. Also to start with you'll have to get yourself registered at icai.org (//icai.org) for CA Foundation exams and appear for the exams.
