I remember writing an answer to a question of yours. But, you had not specified which course you are taking. That is why, I couldnt guide you further. 

Now, I see that there is a different exam to gain admission unto B. Sc (H) in Maths at BHU. This is a 3 year course that is being offered.

You should definitely be in first year. If that is the case, yes you can apply for JEE, and as long as you have registered, you are good to go.

You can also apply for JEE Mains if you are in your second year. Note that one can give JEE Mains 3 times but Advanced only two times, all in consecutive years.
