Actually after you have completed engineering,you need to first look what actually you know after 4 years of tremendous work,after knowing your skills if you come to know that you dont have enough skills to get a job you need to work upon it giving a year gap,finally you need to think that are you happy doing something related to your domain or other than that,/its the main thing.

You need to do a SWOT analysis for yourself.

W-Weaknesses

O-opportunities

T-threats

this will help you a lot and hope you get the best job.
