The cut off for NTSE 2020 Stage 1 of Tamil Nadu will depend on various factors mentioned below:

1. Total number of applications received for the exam.

2. Total number of aspirants appeared for the exam.

3. The category for which you want to take admissions.

4. Total number of seats available.

5. Lastly, the level of difficulty for the exam.

*Category Wise Scores Required for Stage 1 are:

General/OBC - 200 (SAT-100/MAT-100) - 40% for Qualifying

SC/ST - 200 (SAT-100/MAT-100) - 32% for Qualifying

*Expected Stage 1 cut off for Tamil Nadu will be between 155 to 165.

• General/OBC- 40%

Total marks were 200 including 100 marks- MAT and 100 marks-SAT.
For stage-2 , the qualifying marks are same as stage 1.
The expected cut-off for NTSE 2020 is as follows:

• General category - 150-170
  
• OBC category-140-150
  
• SC category- 120-130
  
• BLV -120-130
  
• LD -100-110
  
• DH -60-70
  

This cutoff is based on previous year's stage 1 cut-off.
The actual cut-off depends on the number of applications, the number of students appearing for exam, difficulty level, total available seats, etc.
