numerical question (JEE MAINS) will they give MCQ ??

Hi

There will be 2 types of questions in JEE Mains 2021 examination

*mcqs :- there will be four options and you have to you choose the correct one out of them

* questions with numerical value as the answer :- no options will be provided, you will have to type numerical value .

Here's detailed JEE Mains 2021 examination pattern

JEE Mains examination pattern for both paper 1 and Paper 2 is provided below

PAPER -1

In your JEE Mains 2021 examination paper 1 , there will be a total of 90 question, out of which 75 questions are to be attempted

And these questions are from three subjects :-

* 30 questions from physics.

* 30 questions from Chemistry .

* 30 questions from maths.

The 30 questions in each Subject, will be divided into two sections -

*Section A :- A Section will contain 20 MCQs or multiple-choice questions.

* Section B :- it will contain 10 numerical value questions whose answers are to be filled in by you as a numerical value. You have to attempt only 5 questions out of the total 10 numerical value questions .

So, out of 30 questions in each subject only 25 questions are to be attempted, so in total 25 x 3 = 75 questions out of 90 questions are to be attempted.

Each question carries 4 marks

Exam is conducted for a total of

= 75 x 4
= 300 marks

Marking scheme :-

*four marks is awarded for your every correct answer
* 1 mark in deducted for your every wrong answer MCQs
* no marks is deducted for your wrong answer in case of numerical value question

PAPER -2

B.Arch

*Exam will be conducted for a total of 400 marks

*there will be a total of 82 questions

There will be 3 sections

*Mathematics
There will be a total of 30 questions in mathematics. 20 Questions will be MCQs and rest 10 questions will be questions with numerical value as the answer , out of which only 5 questions are to be attempted.

*Aptitude
50 MCQs will be there

*Drawing
2 questions will be there

B.Planning

*Exam will be conducted for a total of 400 marks

*there will be a total of 105 questions

There will be 3 sections

*Mathematics
There will be a total of 30 questions in mathematics. 20 Questions will be MCQs and rest 10 questions will be questions with numerical value as the answer , out of which only 5 questions are to be attempted.

*Aptitude
50 MCQs will be there

*Planning
25 MCQs will be there
