For CMAT exam min 50% marks are required for General l/OBC category and 45% for SC/ST applicants.

If your friend belong to SC/ST category then only he/she will eligible for CMAT exam through which your friend can get admission in different state colleges for MBA and PGDM program.

First ensure from your friend about his category then let me know in comment so that we can verify his/her eligibility status.

If your friend falls in general category then your friend can sit in XAT exam which doesn't define the eligibility criteria in 10th 12th and graduation marks for sitting in exam but this eligibility criteria will vary from college to college when your friend will be applying for admission.

So let me know I will see how I can help your friend.
