Hi Rajat,
There is no such thing as a better stream, it all depends upon your interest and why you want to become an engineer. All branches are good, it only depends upon the student who is studying them that s/he likes it or not. If you are forced to study something which you do not like for 4 years then it will not be beneficial for you at all.
However, if you still want to know which branch will fetch you better placements then, as of now, computer science is the most lucrative field for jobs and salaries. There will be instances of people doing chemical and electronics and communication engineering and landing jobs in the IT industry. Computer Science(CS) has jobs for people with CS and for the other branches as well.
If you want to make sure you get a job, take CS or IT.
All the best.
hello aspirant,
see most of the stream has its own career option has job facility. remember if your college is not good in placement then you may find it really difficult to get a job even if you have studied in most demanding stream.
so i suggest you take the stream as per your choice of studies. in india right now most demanding streams are cse, IT, ece, mechanical, EE.
but what ever stream you take , make inquiries about college placement and infrastructure.
