Both branches of engineering have scope and jobs if you do well in your 4 years and do it from a good college. But you need to know that by choosing CSE you will get any job in IT field mostly as a developer or if you choose ECE then there are 2 3 field open to you which is electronics, communication and IT field, yes being a ECE student you can also go for IT companies but you need to learn some good programming and if you are not afraid of field work then you can also go for communication as as maintainance engineer or something similar.
But main thing that comes in the scnerio is which college/university you will choose that can help you achieve the desired skills. I would suggest you to choose Invertis university because they provide all you need to get your desired job. They offers B.Tech. in all the branches.

Dear Aspirant
Both the branch have their own scope, you will be successful even if you are interested in any one of them so I would like to tell you that computer science engineering is not a core branch but it has high demand of engineers in private sector industries than the engineers of any other branch.
While electronic and communication engineering is a core branch and from this you can not only get job in public sector industry but also in private sector like computer science engineering just by learning programming skill and other skills required for computer science engineering student. So it has core as well as non core opportunities.
So choose smartly considering my views.
Good luck for your future :)
