Both the branches Electrical and Computer Science are equally good and IIT - Mandi and NIT - Kurukshetra are also good colleges. NIT - Kurukshetra is ranked number 6 in NIT Ranking and IIT - Mandi is ranked number 15 in the IIT ranking list. NIT - KKR was established way before IIT - Mandi and has a better reputation as compared to IIT - Mandi. Also, according to the current scenario Computer Science branch has better placement rates as compared to Electrical. But IITs have 100% placement rates so it won't be a problem. It's up to you which branch are you interested in.
