Karamsad Medical College is also called Pramukhswami Medical College and is affliated to Sardar Patel University. It offers 150 MBBS seats and is the 1st education centre of FAIMER in India. It has a teaching hospital by name Charutar Arogya Mandal and has an attached 800 bedded hospital with an Institute of Medical technology, a Cardiac Centre and a Cancer Centre. Very little is known about NHL Medical College but it is on par with BJ Medical College in terms of education imparted. But wherever one studies, its what you grasp and how you put that into practise. Having said that, NHL Medical College is the only Medical College which conducts AMCON which stands for Adrenaline Medical Conference specifically for UG research. It is attached to VS Hospital which is one of the renowned hospitals in Ahmedabad.
