Getting selected in BIG 4's doesn't have much to do with high marks, but you need to make sure that you clear your level in first attempt to even have a marginal chance. There are interns in Big4s with 350 marks in IPCC, and those with 580 as well. So please make sure you crack your exam in one attempt, that's the most important criteria.

The interviews test your technical, analytical, communication, and teamwork skills. Some of the questions can be as follows:

• Why did you choose CA?
• What department do you want to join?
• Will you be okay working long hours?
• What are your long-term plans for your career?
• Who is the current CEO of KPMG?
• Tell us what you know about the new Companies Act?
• How will you manage your tuition, studies, and articleship?
• Tell me about yourself.
• Why Deloitte? Why not PwC or E&Y?
• Ask me anything. Do you have any questions for me?
• Explain about AS 29.
• If I send you to a new client, what are the things you will need from me?
• A client gives you sales and BR sheets; how will you check them?
