As per the information that I know Kanpur Institute has very excellent placement records . But it actually depends on the course which you choose. In B pharma there are less placements as compared to BTech . But this is obvious because less companies for this course visits and no. of students are also less. But this doesn't means that they don't provide good opportunities. If you are a good student and have the relative skills then you will surely get placed , no matter which college you come from. Although kanpur institute provide internships and stipends are also given during that period. Some companies do take students at 7 lpa package also. But the average is somewhere around 4 to 6 lakhs usually.Nevertheless you can take admission in this institute if you want but do check all other institute also.
