IIIT Kancheepuram has good placements with companies Amazon, Apollo Tyres, Ashok Leyland, Daimler, Flextronics, Forbes Marshall, HCL, IBM and Larsen and Toubro visiting the campus. The placement records show that the institute is growing every year. In the year 2019, the 37 companies visited the campus which recruited 137 students. The highest salary was recorded to be 20 LPA and the average salary was 17.54 LPA.
