Now for government colleges like NITs or good CFTIs or IIITs then you should score good marks in JEE-Main like if you are seeking admission through Other state quota and also belongs to General category then you should not set your target less than 160 marks out of 300 and if through Home state quota then it depends upon your state but still you should try to achieve minimum 140+ marks in JEE-Main for good government colleges for engineering.
