please provide a descriptive syllabus for upsc pt exam....

Hello,

UPSC examination is a Indian government examination. If you want to be a IPS, IAS, IFS, IRS official then you have to give this examination and clear it. After that you have to give interview and after selection your 2 years training continue. And then you have to join your department.

So the position of your work is high so examination also tough than any other government examination. Here Mains and prelim examination occur. If you give prelims examination then you have to give two papers, one is GS paper and another one is CSAT paper. The syllabus also huge.
