No see if you are weak in Chemistry portion then just follow some suggestions :-

** Just focus on NCERT only for now, until and unless you understand the portion of NCERT don't move on.

** For better understanding and learning of formulas just make  a separate notebook where you should write down only reactions and formulas and revise it daily in early morning.

** Now after getting some better understanding than shift on to above mentioned reference books for numericals.
