CGPA stands for Cumulative Grade Point Average. In Education system it has started way earlier to assess your Marks. See there are no different ways of Calculation of GPA for PSU's. They follow the same rule of converting CGPA to PERCENTAGE. There is a simple rule or formula whatever you say to calculate your Percentage Marks from CGPA. What you have to do is that you need to multiply your CGPA with 9.5 Then you will get your actual percentage of marks. 

So as you have mentioned that you got 7.28 CGPA. That means your actual percentage is (7.28*9.5=)69.16

• See there is no particular restriction for PSU.That you need to acquire that amount marks, neither you will be terminated from opportunity.  Every PAU has its own Eligibility Criteria or Cut-off marks for JOB SEEKERS. You need to qualify that only. 
• I don't know which stream you belong but I can tell you that you won't get any PSU's by this CGPA.You need to higher up the perveperce so that your chances increase.
• Every PSU demands higher percentage of Marks.But it's unfortunate that your marks are not upto the mark to get through the selection processes.
