For Physics, you must have heard about the author HC Verma. This book can clear every single physics concepts. It has number of examples. But if you want to stir things up, you can go for Irodov. This book has top notch problems which can really put your mind to work.

For Mathematics, I suggest you ML Khanna. I think of it as HC Verma of Math. This book also has tons of different problems and explainations. Also provides you a good bit of brain exercise.

Well,You can firstly try to get your basic concepts clear from NCERT books and then only try for other books.

mathematics:RD SHARMA,ARIHANT MATHEMATICS
You should try to solve as many questions as you can from these books and try to enhance your skills and learn to apply formulas into the questions.
