If u are sure that you have to do engineering then obviously IIT is the best institute for it. And if you have something different in your mind then you can do your course according to your interest.So please provide me your area of interest then only I can help you in a better way.

Choosing any course depends on your interest and passion. If you have interest in doing engineering you can go for it. It have good scope in terms of job and salary.
If you have any interest in specific branch in engineering you can choose it otherwise you can go for CSE it is the most demanding branch among students followed by ECE, Mechanical, Civil, IT and electrical.
