Hello aspirant,

for doing BSc Jee marks is not so important. Most of the college's requirement only the the percentage of score of your 10 + 2 level. But for IISC admission you should have good marks in JEE main. Some other colleges like the college of Agricultures make admissions based on their own test.

No dear , you don't need to qualify jee examination for doing Bsc .

Jee is the entrance examination for getting admission in Engineering colleges for  btech and not for bsc

Admission in BSC is mostly based on the percentage obtained by you in class 12th board examination, but some of colleges also conduct to their own college level or university level entrance examination for offering admission in BSC courses
