Hi Sundeep,

It is ok to take a drop from a course which you know is not your cup of tea. There are many students who drop btech and start there careers  in commerce and management. Try to get good percentile in your management entrance exam also the requirement for the good management colleges keep a critera of minimum 50 percent or above in your 10th, 12th and graduation from a well recognised university. Your 2 years gap won't be a much problem but if asked in pi you need be very specific with your answers especially in placement personal interviews.

Wish you good luck.
