Hello Sushmita. Congratulations for beating 15 lakh competitive students! I suggest you should not take a drop- instead go for the GMC's you are getting as in the long run, your college does not matter; only your hard work, dedication and skills does. There are many successful doctors such as Naresh Trehan who did not get admitted into AIIMS, infact he did his UG from Indira Gandhi Medical College, Shimla and we all know how good he is prospering.
For your PG, only your dedication towards your goal and your time management matters and not the college you are in. Government medical colleges in themselves are extremely reputed and many students leave AIIMS seats to get admitted into GMC's of their respective state. GMC's have a good patient flow, the hostels and mess are good too and the fee structure is also less.

Make the most of your opportunity, be consistent with your preparation for PG exam and ace it! If you take a drop, yes, you might get even better marks than this year but there is also a probability of you getting even lesser marks as the difficulty level of paper might increase and so might be the number of students attempting the paper. Believe me, taking a drop is hectic and draining physically and emotionally. When you have such good marks, grab this opportunity and don't let it go to waste! All the best!
