General Nursing and Midwifery is the full name of the profession. The GNM Nursing Program is a 3-year, 6-month diploma programme that includes a 6-month internship as a requirement. The field of general nursing and midwifery, or GNM, focuses on imparting abilities and knowledge pertaining to clinical care and patient care.

Students must have finished class 12 in the Science Stream with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as their required subjects in order to be eligible to enrol in the GNM programme.
