Dear Abhishek,

You should be aware of the latest happening and current affairs make sure your read newpaper daily like "The Hindu" and “The Economic Times”

 

You can refer previous year papers to check the type of questions asked in the exam. So, that you can prepare accordingly.

 

You should focus on pre independence and post independence history of India. 
You should also focus more on day to day general science questions. Inventors, discoveries and past nobel prize winners very important.
