Yes,one can join a polytechnic college after passing class 10th. There are some entrance examinations to be cleared by the candidate to get admission in such an institution,some of the college's demand 60% marks in clss10th aggregate for eligibility to appear in entrance examination.There are some skill development institutions run by MSME which are equivalent to polytechnic and have good placement opportunity. They also have same admission procedure.
