Yes, you can do B.tech after polytechnic through lateral entry.

If you take admission through lateral entry examination after polytechnic then you will get admission directly into second year of engineering.

A lateral entry student is the one who directly enters into the second year of his engineering. He/she must have completed a diploma in their respective branch to be eligible for the lateral entry program.
