Moist basic B.Sc. nursing course is a job oriented nursing training course. It is a degree program. Candidates must have passed GNM (General Nursing and Midwifery) course after completing 10+2 schooling (science stream preferred in 10+2). Candidate should be a registered nurse and midwife with any state nursing registration council. 

Reputed institutes follow merit based admission process. Under this scheme, they usually conduct a selection test (aptitude test, interview, written test etc). Deserving candidates are allowed seats, based on their performance in their test.
