BSc Nursing (Post Basic) is a 2 year's course which is designed to enhance nursing skills of the professionals who already have a background in nursing or a similar field.

The basic eligibility criteria is that you should have completed Class 12 with a certificate in General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) and should have a registration in Registered Nurses and Registered Midwives (RNRM).

Apart from the regular course, students can for distance education from IGNOU for under INR 60,000 for a total of 3-5 years.

There are no specific entrance exams for BSc Nursing (Post Basic) admission, but to get admitted in top nursing colleges in India, the department conducts a written test or entrance examination to screen students on the basis of their subject knowledge and skills.
